13. Everyday Robots. Damon Albarn. The Blur frontsman, Damon Albarn, is an interesting subject in his own right: his subjects tell you that beautiful topics sometimes have to reach a conclusion, it tells you about comfortable sadness, and also that his experience of singing for sell-out concerts and his love for naps is never out of reach. Since Blur broke up, broke so many of our hearts so many times with their on-again, off-again stance on making music since then (even the collaborations with Gorillaz didn’t last!) Damon Albarn has been contemplating on how to handle his fame. He’s doing it with dabbling in gospel music, choirs, reggae and acoustic music: that’s a whole lot of genres, like the stamps on his travel bags!
