Top 10 Films Of 2014

9. Foxcatcher. Foxcatcher is quite the drama catch if you need a good dose of that this winter. It stars comediene heavyweight Steve Carell in a whole new avatar, as the ruthless coach of an American wrestling team – this role is actually caricatured of a story from real life. He has deep-pockets, a given when you take a look at his enormous Pennsylvania estate, but much more deadly than all of that was how he desperately wanted to be looked at as a serious professional coach. You also meet the broke but talented young aspiring athlete Mark (Channing Tatum) and his older brother (Mark Ruffalo) who more often than not, eclipses Mark’s chances of ever becoming anything great. The film is dark, deep and very elaborately character driven. Rating: 7/10.
