Provincial Porcelain

Lauriger is one of those brands that knows all about individualism in tableware and accessories, inspired by cubism designs originating in Cuba. A fan of artists and designers who contribute to the Cuban design movement, their first product isthe Lilia Collection. Produced in a small factory in the provincial town of Dubí in Czechoslovakia, the factory’s tradition of forever manufacturing infamous porcelain for more than 300 years carries through well for the pieces by Lauriger. Making use of 3D-printed molds, the high-tech range (expect a teapot, plates, liqueur vessels and serving bowls) is fired thrice before getting retouched by hand.
